Many people knew Nasir Qadri as an actor. He died in Rawalpindi at the age of 82 after a long illness.
The actor’s wife, two boys, and a daughter survive him. Funeral prayers will be held at Chaklala’s Eidgah ground.
Since 1966, Qadri has worked as an actor. He first became known for his roles in Pakistan Television (PTV) shows.
It was for his work in PTV, movies, radio, and theater that he received the President’s Pride of Performance award in 2016.
After hearing the news, deputy Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said he was sad and shocked by Qadri’s death.
The prime minister sent his condolences to the family of the dead and said a prayer for them.
At the same time, Murtaza Solangi, the acting Minister for Information, also said he was sorry about Qadri’s death.
The minister showed his support for the family who had lost a loved one and hoped that they would have the strength to deal with their unfixable loss.
Solangi emphasized that Qadri’s death left a huge hole in the entertainment industry and that his work on national TV would never be forgotten by talking about the late actor’s amazing acting skills.
