Users on the dipping platform have begun running a trend, #RIPTwitter, which has generated over 42.3K re-tweets as a sarcastic farewell to the site’s improbable future after Musk’s takeover.
Also, hundreds of Twitter employees are anticipated to leave the firm after its new CEO cautioned them about working “long hours at high intensity” or risk being fired.
Earlier, many celebs and brands deactivated their Twitter handles including Balenciaga and Musk’s ex-girlfriend Amber Heard.
Meanwhile, Twitteratis have started making memes and many speculate it is another publicity stunt by Elon Musk.
