Srha Asghar, a Pakistani actor, has taken a brave move by accusing Asim of attempting to sexually harass her and filing a First Information Report (FIR) against him.
Srha was returning home from conducting errands on August 1 when the upsetting episode took place. Her spouse, Umar Murtaza, filed the complaint on her behalf at the Shah Faisal Police Station.
According to Srha Asghar’s statement to the police, the man followed her and catcalled at her when she was travelling home. When he got to her house, things got worse and he tried to touch her inappropriately, which caused her clothing to get dirty. She immediately notified her husband that she needed assistance, which sparked a fight between him and the claimed victim.
The event brings to light the upsetting reality of harassment that everyone, including famous people, can experience. Srha expressed her displeasure with media outlets’ attempts to take advantage of the situation for ratings and viewership in addition to dealing with the ordeal.
On her Instagram story, she made it clear where she stood and asked that reporters hold off on asking her about the incident.
Srha Asghar, who is well-known for her excellent work in the dramas “Zindaan,” “Babban Khala Ki Betiyan,” “Rishtay Biktay Hain,” and “Ek Sitam Aur,” is also praised for how she handled the situation and her efforts to resolve it legally.
