On Wednesday, the Railway Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar oversaw the inauguration of the operationalization of the mobile application known as “RABTA,” which is developed for the convenience of passengers.

This application, which will help travellers better plan their trips in advance and is going by the name Railway “Automated Booking and Travel Assistance (RABTA),” is designed to improve the overall travel experience for passengers.

Through the use of the programme, a PR spokeswoman claimed that passengers will be able to map out their upcoming travels without having to leave the comfort of their homes.

PR Secretary Mazhar Ali Shah took to social media to promote the debut of the application, referring to it as a “Innovative platform to revolutionise the way you plan & experience your journey.”

At this time, the RABTA application is connected to a total of three trains and two railcars, the first of which is the Greenline train, which travels between Islamabad and Karachi before returning to Islamabad.

While travelling via PR, users will be able to plan their trips, book tickets, hotels, cabs, and meals using the application, resulting in a more streamlined and enjoyable experience overall.

Within the next few days, the Ministry of Transportation intends to connect the other trains to the application.
