According to Forbes, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman made $821.74 million worldwide upon its initial release in 2017. Now, Gadot is ready to don the armor again amid whispers that the film would be scrapped in favor of a third installment.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, the controversial actor who became famous for playing the popular superheroine revealed that he was in talks with James Gunn and Peter Safran about making a third Wonder Woman movie. This is happening at the same time that DC is making changes to its top leadership.
“I enjoy playing Wonder Woman so much. I love and care so much about it. “From what I’ve heard from James and Peter, we’re going to work together on Wonder Woman 3,” Gadot said.

Late last year, fans started to hear that scriptwriter and director Patty Jenkins had left the project. Some said this was because of her changing relationships with Warner Brothers, while others said it was because her vision for the third movie didn’t match the studio’s.
Jenkins wrote on Twitter, “I never left. I was willing to think about anything that was asked of me. I thought there was nothing I could do to move things along. DC has a lot of changes to make, so I understand that these decisions are hard for them right now.”
The beloved character first showed up in the 2016 movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. After the UN named her a notable advocate for the empowerment of women and girls, she became very famous very quickly. CNN, on the other hand, reported that the character was later taken out of the title because people thought she was too sexualized.
