Its Okay To Feel A Little Blue – But Here’s How To Make It Better!

There is just something about the middle of the month, when you wake up and just don’t want to go to your office or to your university. We so thought, it’s okay to feel a little blue sometimes but here’s how you can make it better!

It is that time of the month again; people started this month feeling inspired and motivated to fulfill all of their new year’s resolutions (salary runs out as well, if you’re anything like us) but now can’t help but feel a little blue. And it is not really their fault, is it? Because with the increase in the cases of COVID-19, people feel the exhaustion creeping in them. There is just something about the middle of the month, when you wake up and just don’t want to go to your office or to your university. We so thought, it’s okay to feel a little blue sometimes but here’s how you can make it better!

We understand because we too at times feel that way, and so we thought of the best way to boost the mid-month blues and the answer is obviously food.  But how did the idea for the such blues, especially Monday Blues came into being?

It was decided after careful consideration that what was the most depressing day of the year – and Sky Travel, the owner of the holiday company thought that the third week of January would be considered as the most depressing week of the year.

“Whether embarking on a new career, meeting new friends, taking up a new hobby or booking a new adventure, January is actually a great time to make those big decisions for the year ahead,’’ says Sky Travel.

The mid-week blues

All of that aside, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Have a cup of Positivi-TEA

It is very important to start your day with a cup of tea to freshen your mind. But at the same time, sit down and read a book or the newspaper. Don’t think about anything – just breathe and absorb that morning bliss before starting your day.

  1. Manifest

Think about all the things you wanted to do since you have ever wanted to do and then think about ways you can achieve those things. It could be anything – the project that you have always wanted to do or something you wanted to do since the start of the year. Once you know what you want do, you will feel the motivation and the inspiration to get it done.

  1. Have a movie night with your friends

The best ways to get out of those mid-month or Monday blues is to have a movie night with your friends. But remember to keep your phone off because that is the only way you will be able to enjoy. Have a good time, relive those older memories, and just laugh.

These are all the ways that you can apply to yourself, and get out of those feeling of depression and sadness. There are just times when nothing works so don’t feel bad. Give yourself time and the space that you need to get that spark back because you will!
