The Turkish actor, who is best known for his role as Abdurrahman Alp in Diriliş: Erturul, is currently in Karachi, the country’s largest city, where he asked his fans to make donations to flood victims through the Turkish Red Crescent.The actor travelled all the way from Turkey as the international community was called to step up its response to help millions who are suffering at the forefront of global climate change.
“We are taking your donations to help affected people. You can also help by texting Pakistan [to] 2868,” he captioned the post that amassed a huge response.
Early last year, the actor made his first trip to Pakistan, winning the hearts of many with his humanitarian work for Pakistanis through the Omair-Sana Foundation (OSF) and Children’s Hospital Karachi. He also admired Islamabad’s natural beauty.
As of Monday, the Manchar Lake floodwaters were still causing havoc in the Dadu district, submerging another village, Mian Yaar Mohammad Kalhoro, and officials had issued a warning that further villages were in danger of being flooded.
He has also given out food to the populace and interacted with local children. The youngsters adored talking to him and definitely appreciated his company. He even sang “Turkiye” with them. Check out some of his Pakistani photos and movies.
