The holidays for Eid ul Adha 2023 will begin on Thursday, June 29, and continue through Saturday, July 1, according to an announcement made by the federal government on Tuesday.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, who is the head of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, said yesterday that June 29 would be the first day of Eidul Azha in all of Pakistan. This means that the holidays for Eid Ul Adha 2023 will begin on the 29th of June.
Before the statement, the moon-sighting group and other zonal committees met in the country’s provincial cities.
Meteorologists and members of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) joined the central and zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees and the central and zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees for the moon sighting in Pakistan.

The Hajj, which is one of the five bases of Islam and should be done by every Muslim who can afford it, comes to an end on Eidul Azha.
Also, Saudi Arabia stated on Sunday that the Zilhaj moon had been seen. This means that the Islamic month of Zilhaj will begin on Monday, June 19 and that Eidul Azha will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28.
Most of the time, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf countries enjoy Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha at the same time.
