Pakistan Navy has been protecting our seas from the get-go. Like any other security force, Pakistan Navy’s contribution towards Pakistan is immense. No words can ever be enough to thank the Navy personnel for protecting against external dangers. The drills, exercises, and organization of the Pakistani Navy have helped maintain peace in the region. For this Saudi Arabia lauded Pakistan Navy phir mantay hain na door door tak hai Pak Navy ki dhoom.
Pakistan Navy has taken the initiative to conduct joint maritime security to ensure regional peace. Saudi Arabia is also a party to this collaborative initiative. For this reason, Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia. During his visit, he held a meeting with Fahad Bin Abdullah Al Ghofaily, Commander Royal Saudi Naval Forces Vice Admiral, and Major Gen Talal Abdullah Al- Otaibi, Military Advisor to Minister of Defence.

During the visit Naval Chief also watched the World Defence Show organized by the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia. Naval Chief also met with the Commander US NAVCENT Vice Admiral Brad Cooper. During the meeting, both parties discussed matters which concern both countries. Moreover, in a separate meeting with the Saudi Leadership, the Naval Chief discussed matters related to regional maritime security and bilateral defense joint ventures.
Pakistan is trying to make the sea perfectly safe by conducting joint maritime ventures with other countries. Moreover, doing so would help bring new insights for all the parties. These exercises help to create an environment for learning new things and strengthening our defense. Pakistani Naval Chief also shed light on Pakistan’s contribution to ensuring regional stability and maritime security. He also mentioned the efforts of Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), Regional Maritime Security Patrols, and multinational task forces.
This visit hints at more future cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Particularly, the Navies of both the countries are expected to hold more joint ventures. Such joint ventures will improve the bilateral relations between both countries.
