According to an important development highlighted by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, the top social media site Facebook will now allow Pakistani content creators to make money from their work.
The development came as FM Bhutto visited Meta’s Asia Pacific offices during his Singapore tour.
FM referred to it as big news in a social media post and noted that he was the first Pakistani official to visit the Meta office. Creators can now monetize their Facebook material, according to Minister, thanks to this new function.
With this new feature now live in 🇵🇰 creators can monetize their Facebook content. The more stars they get the more money they will earn. Hoping the youth of Pakistan in particular will get more productive use out of their social media. https://t.co/RzewgYv8yQ https://t.co/UX20W0MmQH pic.twitter.com/7KmrJt5UWe

This development is made possible through a new “stars” feature on Facebook. The more stars they get the more money they will earn.
The concept of the social media ads is well known to a large number of users. In recent years, video monetization was introduced by Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, but it was only made available to a select group of Facebook partners.
Earlier, digital media organizations and creators paid international companies to apply for monetization from those regions.
