Women in Rawalpindi gives Birth to Sextuplets- One in a 4.7 billion chance

Hold onto your hats, folks, because in a one-in-4.7 billion chance, a young woman has just rocked the cradle, not once, not twice, but six times over at the District Headquarters Hospital in Rawalpindi, Punjab! That’s right—Zeenat Bibi and her husband Waheed, who hail from Hazara Colony, are over the moon after welcoming a bustling brood of sextuplets—four bouncing baby boys and two giggling girls!

Doctors are buzzing with good news too, reporting that the babies are in tip-top shape with normal birth weights and that mom Zeenat is feeling fab! The tiny team will hang out in the neonatal intensive care unit for a bit just to get the all-clear before heading home.

Now, sextuplets are a rare sight, folks! They usually don’t happen without a little help, and though fertility treatments have made headlines for cranking up the chances of such grand-slam births, they come with a caution sign. And get this—sextuplets can be fraternal from different eggs and sperms, or identical from one egg that decided to go full party mode and split multiple times. Imagine that—identical triplets or even sextuplets! Plus, these groups can have twins among them, and they could all be boys, all girls, or a mix.

As thrilling as this baby bonanza is, Zeenat and Waheed are now facing the mammoth task of juggling six little bundles of joy—a round-the-clock marathon of diapers, lullabies, and cuddles. Talk about a full house!
